E. Company packed the Blue Nile last Saturday for the release of their debut album, “On”, before embarking on their East coast tour. From their branded homemade cupcakes, supporting acts, and high energy performance, I am proud to say that I live in this beautiful city. Sharing the stage for the evening were, New Orleans own, Big Rock Candy Mountain and Gravity A. E.company took everyone on journey into jazz fusion, soul driven, organ grindin’, nothing other than what you can call the epitome of new New Orleans music. This group brings only original genre-bending, booty shakin’, soul music to your ears. Highlights included an appearance by the incredible Mario Abney on trumpet and the one and only, “Tambourine Lady”. You will soon be able to purchase a live video recording of this beautiful evening filmed by See Sick Productions. Also, stay tuned for E.company’s exclusive Juju music video.

Set features: Chris Lippincott (guitar), Joe Shirley (organ/keyboards and vocals), Rev Gooden (saxophone), Trey Boudreaux (bass), and Dave Shirley (drums).  Special guest Mario Abney (trumpet). Photos by Kate Monson, exclusively for JuJu Association.
